Organiser & Eligibility
  •  
    		•  This PURINA ONE Picture of Health Contest [“Contest”] is organised by Purina PetCare [Malaysia] Sdn. Bhd. [581278-K] [“the Organiser”] and is open to all Malaysian residents with a valid MyKad aged 18 years and above as of 08/08/2011.
  •  
    		•  The following group of persons shall not be eligible to participate in this Contest:
      [a] Employees of the Organiser [including its affiliated and related companies] and their immediate family members [children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses]; and/or
      [b] Representatives, employees, servants and/or agents of advertising and/or promotion service providers of the Organiser [including its affiliated and related companies], and their immediate family members [children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses].

    Duration

    		•  This Contest will run from 08/08/2011 at “00:00:01” to 16/10/2011 at “23:59:59” [“the Contest Period”].
  •  
    		•  The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Contest Period at any time without prior notice. All entries received outside the Contest Period will be disqualified.

    Submission of Entries & Qualifying Criteria  
  •  
    		•  To participate in this Contest, the participants must first purchase one [1] participating PURINA ONE product. One [1] proof of purchase (“POP”) is required for each entry submission. 
  •  
    		•  The participating PURINA ONE products are all pack sizes (1.81kg/3.63kg/8.16kg) PURINA ONE Healthy Puppy Formula, PURINA ONE Healthy Weight Formula, PURINA ONE Sensitive Systems Formula, PURINA ONE Chicken & Rice Formula, and PURINA One Lamb & Rice Formula.
  •  
    		•  To qualify for this Contest, participants are required to submit the following for each entry:
     
    • One [1] POP with an expiry date of no earlier than August 2011 and a 10-digit barcode number;
    • A minimum of one [1] and a maximum of six [6] photographs of his/her dog, together with particulars of the dog (Dog Name, Breed & Age); and
    • Correct answers to two [2] questions relating to PURINA ONE products.
  •  
    		•  Contest entries must be submitted either online via www.purinaone.com.my (the “Website”) or offline via entry forms.
    • Online Submission
      To submit entries online, participants must first be registered as PURINA ONE website member via the Website. Please refer to the privacy policy and the terms and conditions in the Website which will bind the members and users of the Website.
    • Offline Submission
      To submit entries offline, participants must complete the Contest entry form obtained from any participating outlets. Completed entry forms and POP cut-outs must be submitted to:

      By completing the entry form, participants will automatically be registered as PURINA ONE website member.

    		•  All submissions must be received by the Organiser by 23:59:59 of 16/10/2011. Submissions after these dates will be automatically disqualified.
  •  
    		•  Proof of delivery is not proof of receipt of entry forms. The Organiser will not be responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
  •  
    		•  Each entry received during the Contest Period will be serialised according to the time of receipt (yy/mm/dd/hh/mm/ss). In the event of duplicate entries from the same participant, the submitted entry which is most recent will be treated as a valid entry. In the event of duplicate submissions from different participants, the first submitted entry will be treated as a valid entry based on the time of receipt.
  •  
    		•  In order to participate in this Contest, each entry submitted must complete all the steps in the Contest. Any incomplete or incorrect entries will be automatically disqualified. Each participant may submit more than one [1] entry.
  •  
    		•  All participants will be required to register the following personal details to complete submissions:
    • Name as per NRIC
    • Email Address
    • NRIC
    • Mobile Number
    • Mailing Address
  •  
    		•  All photographs submitted for this Contest, subject to moderation by the Organiser, will be uploaded to the Public Gallery on the Website during the Contest Period.
  •  
    		•  The panel of judges will select the top three (3) entries as the Prize Winners and twenty [20] entries as the Consolation Prize Winners (“Selected Entries”). The judging criteria of the entries will be based on completeness, creativity, originality and relevancy of the photograph entries to this Contest.
  •  
    		•  Participants of the Selected/Shortlisted Entries are required to send in all POP submitted for entry during the entire Contest Period for verification.
  •  
    		•  All participants must be the owner of the dog in the photographs submitted for entry (“Dog Ownership”).
  •  
    		•  To verify authenticity of the Dog Ownership for the Selected Entries, representatives from PURINA ONE will conduct a home visit following the selection period and POP verification.
  •  
    		•  Only the participants of the selected/shortlisted entries will be notified via email and/or telephone. The Organiser will not be held responsible should there be any error, delay or defect in notification via the email and/or telephone to the participants of the selected entries.

    Prizes
  •  
    		•  The Prizes for this Contest consist of three [3] categories. 
  •  
    		•  Category 1: Early Bird Prizes
    [a] First 100 qualified entries, comprising 50 entries from Online Submission and 50 entries from Offline Submission, will each receive:
    • Limited edition PURINA ONE Premium
  •  
    		•  Category 2: Prize Winners
    [a] One [1] 1st Prize Winner, as selected by judges, will receive:
    • Ringgit Malaysia Ten Thousand [RM10,000] and One [1] year supply of PURINA ONE products
    [b] One [1] 2nd Prize Winner, as selected by judges, will receive:
    • Ringgit Malaysia Five Thousand [RM5,000] and Six [6] months supply of PURINA ONE products
      [c] One [1] 3rd Prize Winner, as selected by judges, will receive:
    • Ringgit Malaysia Two Thousand [RM2,000] and Six [6] months supply of PURINA ONE products
  •  
    		•  Category 3: 20 Consolation Prizes
    [a] Twenty [20] Consolation Winners, as selected by judges, will each receive:
    • Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred [RM500] and PURINA ONE hamper worth RM160 each
    Prizes Redemption
  •  
    		•  Winners' names will be announced on the Website. The winners will be notified via Email and/or Telephone through their contact details provided to the Organiser when they register as PURINA ONE website member account member. The Organiser will not be held liable in the event that the winner(s) cannot be contacted for whatever reasons after at least three [3] attempts by the Organiser or its agents to contact the winners. All prizes must be claimed within two [2] months from the date of notification. All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. The Organiser will not be held liable in the event of non-receipt or delayed delivery of the email notification to the winners.
  •  
    		•  The selected top three [3] prize winners must bring along their Dogs for the prize giving ceremony organised by the Organiser.
  •  
    		•  Other prizes will be delivered to the participants’ address provided during Contest registration. All cost of delivery will be borne by the Organiser. However, the Organiser will not be held liable in the event of non-receipt or delayed delivery of the prize.
  •  
    		•  The Organiser shall reserve the right at its absolute discretion to substitute any of the prizes with that of similar value, at any time without prior notice. The values of the prizes are correct at the time of printing. All prizes are given on an “as is” basis and all hampers are not exchangeable for cash, credit, other items or voucher, in part or in full.
  •  
    		•  All winners must abide by the terms and conditions of the parties arranging and/or providing for the prizes and the terms and conditions attached to the prizes, if any.

    Liability & Responsibility
  •  
    		•  Winners shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any liability, mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents [including death] resulting from their participation in this Contest, redemption and/or utilisation of the prizes. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any liability, mishap, loss, damage, claim or accident (including death) in any manner whatsoever.
  •  
    		•  All photography, transportation, accommodation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or other expenses that are incurred to participate in this Contest and to redeem the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.
  •  
    		•  The Organiser is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet and/or websites.

    		•  The Website is provided on an “as is” basis and, except as otherwise prohibited by applicable law, the Organiser expressly disclaim any warranty of any kind, including, but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Organiser cannot guarantee and do not promise any specific results from use of the Website. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from us, or from or through the Website shall create any warranty not expressly stated herein

    Rights of the Organiser

    		•  By submitting your materials for this Contest, all participants agree and acknowledge that all intellectual property rights thereto shall belong to the Organiser. The Organiser shall have the exclusive right to use, edit, modify and publish all materials submitted by all the participants, publish the photographs and names of the participants, in any way it deems fit for any advertising, trade, promotional purpose and for any other reason whatsoever, without any further notice to the participants and the participants shall not claim ownership or any payment or compensation on the materials. For the avoidance of doubt, the submissions will not be edited for judging purposes.
  •  
    		•  The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participants found to be associated with any animal cruelty offence or allegations in the present or in the past which may cause embarrassment to the Organiser.
  •  
    		•  The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this Contest in the event that it becomes not capable of running as planned, technically interfered or corrupted, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Organiser, despite the best efforts of the Organiser.
  •  
    		•  The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Contest submission process, the operation of this Contest or to be in violation of the Conditions of Access of the Website. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate the PURINA ONE website member account of any person who it reasonably suspects has violated or infringed any of these general terms and conditions and the Organiser reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to this online Contest, the Contest submission process and/or the Website.

    		•  Participants also agree that the Organiser is not responsible nor liable for any delay, injury or damage to the participant’s and/or any third party's computer, computer system or apparatus relating to or resulting from the access to, participation in this Contest, including the playing, downloading of any materials or information from the Website and in connection with this Contest, including without limitation any server failure, lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction.

    Other Terms & Conditions

    		•  All photographs submitted must be original and shall not breach any intellectual property rights belonging to any party. The participants shall not pose, distribute, reproduce or submit in any way whatsoever, any photographs containing any other party’s intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, or other proprietary information owned by another party without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such intellectual property rights or proprietary information. If you believe that your work has been copied and posted in a way that constitutes an intellectual property infringement, please contact the Organiser.
  •  
    		•  There must not be any proprietary dog outfits, background containing proprietary artwork or recognizable commercial logos in the photographs.
  •  
    		•  The Organiser, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to modify this Rules & Regulations without any prior notice, if required for the smooth running of the Contest.
  •  
    		•  This Rules & Regulations are prepared in English only.
  •  
    		•  The Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence thereon will be entertained.
  •  
    		•  By participating in this Contest, participants agree to be bound by this Contest Rules & Regulations, and the decisions of the Organiser.

    Technical Requirements
  •  
    		•  All photographs to be submitted must comply with the following specifications:
    • Maximum file size: 2MB
    • Format allowed: JPG, JPEG
    • Minimum number: 1 Photo
    • Maximum number: 6 Photos
    All POP to be submitted must include:
    • Expiry Date
    • Barcode Number
    Submissions that do not adhere to these requirements will be automatically disqualified. An email notification of disqualified entries will be sent out to the participants.
  •  
    		•  The Organiser shall not be held liable or responsible for any delay and/or failure in the receipt of entry due to the inability of the respective Internet Service Provider [ISP] company and/or telecommunication network to provide timely and/or efficient internet and/or telecommunication services.

    Prohibited Content
  •  
    		•  Below is a partial list of content that is illegal or prohibited to be submitted or posted on Website. Submission or posting of any of this content by the participant may, in the Organiser's sole discretion, result in termination of membership in addition to the disqualification of participation. In addition, the Organiser reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action, in its sole discretion, against anyone who violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending communication and reporting such violators to the appropriate legal authorities. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to, contents which, in the Organiser's sole judgment:-
    • is offensive to the online community, such as content that promotes racism, politically religious agendas, inflammatory religious content, violence, foul language, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual or animal;
    • include ingredients that are offensive to other religious practices and/or PURINA ONE competitive products that appear in the photographs;
    • harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
    • involves the transmission of "junk mail", "chain letters," "spam," or any other unsolicited mass mailing, e-mailing, or other communication;
    • includes any information that [1] the participant knows is false or misleading, [2] promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, or [3] is threatening, obscene, defamatory, or libelous;
    • constitutes or includes any illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted or copyrightable work, including, but not limited to, [1] pirated computer programs or links to them, and [2] information which circumvents manufacturer-installed copy-protect devices;
    • displays obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind;
    • includes material that exploits people in a sexual or violent manner;
    • includes material showing or depicting any offensive or violent acts whether involving other person or persons or animal or not;
    • provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone's privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses; and
    • exhibits overtly dangerous or potentially life threatening situations.
