Hey, but did I have a big surprise when my Godma, Aunty YY brought her little white Shih Tzu to Daddy house 2 days ago. Godma told me that I was to take care of MuiMui, what a funny name…heh heh...while she went to Miri for work, wherever that is.
I extended my warmest welcome to Muimui, only to be greeted with a long, nasty growl and an unfriendly bark. Uh oh, looks like she’s not too happy to be left with me. I looked at Daddy who patted me and said, “Jodie, make friends k. That’s my good girl.” Muimui only started being nice to me after 2 days, and that was when I allowed her to share my Purina One Turkey dinner which she seemed to enjoy much more than her own food which Godma left with Daddy. I told Muimui that Purina One’s the best and most delicious food she will ever taste and a must have! She wagged back in agreement.
Punishment for being creative? Double sigh…sometimes I just don’t understand human beings. Daddy had left a stack of newspapers outside in the porch to be given to the Uncle Old Newspaper who was due to come last Thursday. But he didn’t until Friday. That Thursday night while the human beings were asleep, I felt the newspapers calling out to me. I stared at the stack for a looonnnnggg while before I decided to answer their calling.
Happily, I helped myself to the topmost pile in the stack, tore the pile into little pieces and arranged the pieces in the most creative manner. Well actually, I scattered the pieces evenly on the left portion of the porch. How I achieved the even distribution? I placed 3 pieces on 1 tile. I only managed the 21st tile when Daddy opened the main door to leave for work. I wagged proudly at my masterpiece but Daddy’s look told me that he was not at all pleased and certainly not proud.
I dashed straight into my little house (cage) and in good time too, coz Daddy’s hand was waving the cane. Phew…Dad glared angrily and said, “What a mess, naughty girl! Wait till I get home after work later…” and with that he stormed angrily to his car. I was kinda confused. Daddy, I thought you would be proud to have a creative pet. After all, you are in the creative industry too mah. Triple sigh…
